Ingredients
2 bananas
tea spoon of honey
50g of porridge oats (organic)
320ml of water or semi skimmed milk
½ teaspoon of ground cinnamon
½ teaspoon of brown sugar
200g of plain pro biotic yogurt
Method
Heat a pan with the honey. Split the bananas length ways and place in the pan. Cook gently taking care not to burn the hone. Cook for around 8 minutes until the bananas have taken on a golden hue. For the porridge simply mix the oats with the water or milk. Stir in the cinnamon. Bring to the boil and simmer for 6 minutes, stirring occasionally
To serve
Place porridge in a bowl then dollop the yogurt on top. Carefully place the cooked bananas of top of both and garnish with crushed toasted hazel nuts |
