Persian Herb & Pearl Barley Soup
½ Onion
¼ tsp Turmeric
½ tsp Ginger
1 Garlic clove
½ bunch of Flat leaf parsley
½ bunch of Coriander
1 Parsnip
Water
1 tbsp of Pearl barley
1 Vegetable stock cube
Sour plums
1 ½ Lemons
Chop & fry onion with garlic, ginger & turmeric.
Add chopped herbs and diced parsnip
Cover with water add vegetable stock cube & pearl barley
After 30 mins add sour plums & cook
Finish with plenty of fresh lemon juice to taste
