New To The PB Studio for Autumn 2010
KARATECISE
We are excited to announce the introduction of a brand new form of exercise to the Personal Best Studio.Combining the very best of circuit training with the dynamic power of Karate to form 'Karatesise'. Classes will be led by Mark Beard a Black belt Karate instructor with over 10 years teaching experience and numerous years personal training experience.
Classes will take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings @ 8.30 and will last for 1 hour. Each class will be restricted to 8 people so that each participant will benefit from some one to one instruction
CIRCUIT TRAINING
Circuit training is an efficient and challenging form of conditioning that works well for developing strength, endurance (both aerobic and anaerobic), flexibility and coordination.
As anyone who has ever tried it will testify, this is an intense workout that will have you breathing hard - but you'll likely do it with a smile on your face.

Using our wealth of experience and expertise, we have developed a class that combines all the best functional conditioning exercises with plenty of high tempo high energy cardio work
As well as all the fantastic exercise you will experience in each 1 hour class you will find support,motivation and friendship. All of the above are just as fundamental in helping you reach your fitness goals as is your passion and enthusiasm that you apply in each workout.
With our extensive range and mix of exercises each hour long session will race by as you maximize your results, enjoy new and exciting routines and obtain priceless fitness and weight loss knowledge. Each session incorporates aerobic exercise, strength training, agility drills, flexibility work and lots of fun. Regardless of your fitness levels you will be challenged to push your limits in a controlled and progressive way.

TITLEIST GOLF PERFORMANCE CLASS.
The golf specific exercise class caters for golfers of all abilities. An integral feature of the class is the golf specific screen test that each participant goes through. All the screen tests have been designed by the Titleist Performance Institute and once completed each client will have a bespoke program of exercises that are designed to unlock the bodys full potential on the golf course.
WHY SHOULD I TAKE PART?
The class focuses on 4 key areas, flexibility, stability, balance and strength. By taking part in the class, the performer should expect to make significant improvement in the following:-

How much will it cost?
Circuit Training Classes & Golf Fitness classes are £10 per session. Core Workout Classes led by our in house Chiropractor are £12.50 per session
All Classes run as a block for four weeks.

What do I need to know before attending a class?
1. IMPORTANT. Print and fill out the Health & Fitness Questionnaire,(click on link below photograph) and post it to the address above prior to your first Class
2. When starting any training program it is important that you progress gradually PB trainers will guide you about how much to do but it is still tempting to become over zealous and try and do too much initially, so remember that it is important to give your self time to adjust top avoid injuries especially if you havent done anything for a long time. Start slowly and build over the first few weeks, if you have a previous injury or are unhappy about something then speak to your trainer. We work closely with our in house Chiropractor who can perform a full body screen and give advice on what to do and what not to do.
3. Eat a small meal before your class. Avoid coming with an empty stomach we need you to have energy!
4. Arrive at your class 5 minutes before Fit Club starts. This will ensure that we get off to a timely start and you get all 50/60 fun-filled minutes packed with action!
5. Take on fluid before the start of your session and bring a water bottle we need to keep you hydrated! There are some optional things you may wish to bring such as a sweat towel
6. Give 100% effort you will reap the rewards of your hard work!
7. It is strongly recommended that you wear appropriate training shoes with the right combination of cushioning and support for Circuit Training. Speak to your trainer for advice or visit Batemans Sports Stroud
