With the now traditional mud squelching scenes from Glastonbury it must mean that summer has arrived! Holiday destinations beckon for many which means that space frees up in our personal training diary. Normally this diary is pretty full with little room for manoeuvre but over the next 8 weeks we have some extra availability.

New Team Member
We are delighted to introduce Madeleine Lowson, MSc, MSST Sports Therapist, graduating from the University of Gloucestershire. Madeleine Lowson is a fully qualified MSc Sports Therapist, achieving a Distinction award in her Master’s Degree in Sports Therapy from the University of Gloucestershire, and a previous BSc degree in Exercise Science (Health and Rehabilitation) from Bournemouth University. Madeleine is a keen sportswoman and has represented Stroud Swimming Club and her University in a variety of sports competitions. She enjoys keeping fit and healthy and takes great pride in passing on advice to her clients, helping them achieve their health and fitness goals. As a team player, Madeleine understands the importance of reducing the risk of injury with sports therapy treatment and offers both preventative and rehabilitation exercise to clients. As an introductory offer, we will be offering 30% off treatments with Madeleine until the end of May. Monday 8am-12pm (starting 18th April) Thursday 2pm-7pm (starting 12th May) |

Recipe
It’s been a while since I posted a recipe, but this one is worth the wait, easy and delicious! Who would have thought that chicken could taste so good? This recipe is adapted from Tom Kerridges ‘weekend chicken’. Tom recommends brining the chicken the night before you cook it, I have not tried that step, but trust me this slow cook version is delicious without the 12 hours in brine!
